YIN YOGA

A QUIET PRACTICE AND FOCUS ON FASCIA & JOINTS

IN YIN YOGA ITS NOT SO IMPORTANT HOW IT LOOKS LIKE, THE MOST IMPORTANT IS HOW IT FEELS.

AND AS WE ALL LOOK DIFFERENT THERE IS NO "RIGHT OR WRONG". THE POSES ARE ALSO GOING TO LOOK A BIT DIFFERENT FROM PERSON TO PERSON. JUST ACCEPT WHITCH FEELS BEST FOR YOU. FEEL YOUR BODY, BREATH IN THE POSITION, REST IN THE POSITION AND JUST LET GO. MAKE A LITTLE PEACE WITH YOURSELF.

  • A mix of hatha yoga, mindfulness, traditionell chinese medicin.
  • Yin represente the the dark, the moon, the earth, the cold, the slow, the relaxation, the feminin side.
  • A slow, quiet practice were we stay in the poses for a longer time. Our muscles are completly relaxed.
  • Our fascia is the glue that holds everything together in our body. Without it our body should fall apart.
  • If we sit to much or have a static lifestyle our fascia will get stiff, thats why we have to both move the body, as "stretch" in stillness as we do in yin yoga.
  • We have a lot of painsensors in our fascia, thats why it sometimes "hurts" a little when you come in to the pose.
  •  But after a while with relaxation and focus on your breathing you often get a "light" feeling in you body instead.
  • We want to create Qi in our body ( prana in other yoga ).
